How many books can a student check out?
Grades K-3 : two
Grade 4-6: three
Grades 7-12: four
How long can a student keep a book?
The loan period for all students is 21 days. Students may renew a book to keep it for another 21 days as long as another patron has not placed it on hold.
What are the fines for overdue books?
Grades K-12 are not responsible for paying fines as long as the book is returned.
What if a student loses or damages a book?
Students are responsible for the books they check out from the library. If a book gets lost, we will provide you with the book cost that will need to be payable to the Russia Local Schools. If a book is damaged, please bring the book in for repair and do not try to fix it. If the book cannot be repaired appropriately, we will provide you with the book cost that will need to be payable to the Russia Local Schools.
