There will be two performances of Oklahoma! and they will take place at Russia School:
Friday, March 27 in the evening
Sunday, March 29 in the afternoon
Set in the Oklahoma Territory just before statehood, Oklahoma! bursts with rivalry, romance, and small-town drama. Confident cowboy Curly and independent Laurey clearly care for each other—but stubborn pride keeps them from saying it out loud. Things turn tense when Jud Fry, a troubled farmhand, sets his sights on Laurey and challenges Curly.
The conflict explodes at a lively box social, where a picnic basket auction becomes a fierce showdown for Laurey’s attention. Meanwhile, comic chaos unfolds as flirtatious Ado Annie can’t choose between sweet cowboy Will Parker and the charming traveling peddler Ali Hakim.
Through humor, music, and high-stakes competition, the community navigates love, jealousy, and change, coming together in celebration as Oklahoma steps toward becoming a new state.
*Please note we will be performing the youth edition of Oklahoma!
